Draw your tiles and dive in. Literally.
Join us Tuesday, June 23 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm for a one-of-a-kind event where beginners find their footing on dry land and experienced players can take the game into the water. Whether you've never touched a tile or you're already calling Mahjong in your sleep, there's a seat (or a float) for you.
Registration is $30 for Glen Cove members and $40 for guests. (Guests must be registered and accompanied by an active member.) And to make this evening extra special, the pool will close early to general membership for the event. That means attendees will have exclusive access to the entire club for the evening, making this a truly unique Glen Cove experience.
We're thrilled to welcome The Mahjong Line instructor, The Marvelous Mrs. Mahjong, Stephanie Brink. Tiles, racks, pushers, and National Mahjong League cards are all provided — just bring yourself.
How It Works:
- Beginners & Refreshers → Start on dry land with a guided lesson from Stephanie. You'll learn the basics, get comfortable with the tiles, and be ready to play before you know it.
- Experienced Players → Take the party to the pool for a splashy, competitive game you won't forget.
- Everyone → Mingle, mix, and maybe even pick up a new obsession.
There will also be exclusive discounts on The Mahjong Line tiles and accessories available on-site. This is your chance to grab the gorgeous sets you've been eyeing. Plus you'll get access to The Mahjong Line's online play website, so you can practice before the next Glen Cove Mahjong night.
